Dear Friend,
I have such an expectancy of what God is doing in the earth and in our personal lives. Ephesians 6:10-18 is a “must read and re-read” for all of us. In a nutshell, it instructs us in some very important points of faith. Verse 10 tells us to be strong in the Lord—in the strength that He provides.” Then verse 11 instructs us to, “put on God’s whole armor—the armor of a heavy-armed solider, which God supplies—that you may be able to successfully stand up against all the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
In the face of all that is going on around us, we are to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. We must stand up against all of the devil’s strategies. We must stand our ground and stand firm in our place. “Hold your ground solider, and don’t let the enemy push you back. Advance—and keep advancing!! Charge!”
How do we stand? By faith!
What do we stand on? God’s Word!
In 1 Corinthians 15:1, Paul said, “I declare unto you the gospel (God’s Word) which I preached to you which you have received and wherein you stand.” Whatever is going wrong in your life right now, find a scripture and stand on it! Believe it, confess it, meditate upon it and walk it out by faith. Don’t allow the devil to discourage you. Stand your ground and don’t let go.
To effectively stand in faith in God and His word, you must be rooted and grounded in Him. Read your daily scripture. Come to church. Listen to faith-filled preaching.
I am strong in the Lord.
I stand firm in faith and on the Word.
I have faith in God!
I refuse to give up or quit.
My heart is established and fixed in His word this year.
None of these things move me. I will not look back.
I stand my ground in Jesus’ Name.
